Your grammar PDF and email privacy

When you enter your email and actively tick the consent box, MuntligB1 sends the free 16-page grammar PDF to that address. You also agree to one email about the full grammar handbook, normally sent the next day, subject to our existing email frequency limits. The handbook is an optional one-time purchase of 99 NOK. Requesting the free PDF does not create an app account, purchase or paid subscription.

What we record

We keep your email address, the exact grammar consent wording and its date, your confirmation that you are at least 15, the requested PDF and the signup source. For up to 30 days we also keep a one-way hash of the request IP address and browser information as technical evidence. The hash is pseudonymous, so we treat it as personal data. Our database holds only hashes of download and unsubscribe codes. The working links are delivered through our email provider, Resend, which keeps message content and delivery logs for 30 days while our account is active.

The download link expires after 30 days or three download attempts. We record email delivery and follow-up attempts to recover failed delivery, prevent duplicate promotions and enforce email frequency limits. A new signup also creates an internal notification containing a masked email address. We do not send the handbook promotion to current or recorded paying customers.

Unsubscribing and retention

While you remain subscribed, we keep the readable mailing record, including after the single handbook follow-up. This has no fixed end date: it lets us recognise another PDF request and avoid sending the same promotion again. It does not authorise additional grammar promotions. You can end this retention at any time by unsubscribing through an email or contacting support.

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops the MuntligB1 email series, removes the readable address from the mailing record and deletes the message-attempt records. We retain a keyed code derived from your email, together with the consent and withdrawal proof, for three years to honour your opt-out and document those decisions. These retention periods are our documented policy. Technical IP and browser evidence is deleted within 30 days of each event. Requesting another copy does not restart the handbook promotion.

If you already subscribe to the exam-question emails, requesting the grammar PDF adds its separate consent without replacing that subscription. Its existing email preferences and frequency limits still apply. We never sell your email address.
